- Who it was for
- Pre-licensure nursing students working through professional ethics and scope of practice.
- The problem
- Ethics content taught as rules produces students who can recite the rule and still freeze in the moment. The gap is judgment under pressure, not recall.
- What I did
- A branched scenario instead of a lesson. The learner meets the situation first, chooses, and sees where the choice leads. Standard of care, chain of command, and scope of practice each surface through consequence rather than definition.
